Italian luxury fashion house Prada has entered the fine jewelry market with ‘Eternal Gold,’ a collection made entirely of recycled gold, processed according to standards set by the Responsible Jewelry Council.
On-Brand Design
The distinctive Prada triangle is a common design element, seen throughout the collection. Most visibly seen in their pendants and earrings, it’s also used in chain links and clasp closures.

Sustainable Approach
The collection was deliberately planned with the future in mind, demonstrating a responsible approach to adornment and beauty which do no harm to the planet. This philosophy is not only important to young generations, it’s a way of life for many. To that end, IGI became the first gemological laboratory to commit to carbon neutrality, back in 2020.

Blockchain Authenticity
A chip embedded in each piece is logged on the Aura Consortium Blockchain, founded by the Prada Group, LVMH and Cartier last year. Owners can verify the piece’s authenticity and history on this platform, increasing transparency and creating generational provenance as pieces change hands.

On-Brand Ambassadors
Prada chose three emerging artists to don their pieces for a series of photos and become immortalized in gold negative renderings. Poet Amanda Gorman, singer/actor Maya Hawke and musician Jeon Somi, all young talents in their 20s, were chosen to represent the optimism of coming generations.
