2. How to Acquire a Digital Diamond Certificate (DDC)

Obtaining your Digital Diamond Certificate is simple. When you submit your diamond to IGI for grading or an audit report, select the option for a blockchain-backed DDC on the order form and provide your digital wallet address. If you do not already have a wallet, you can quickly create one free of charge on YourProof.id by following the Wallet Setup Guide.

Once your wallet is ready, you may connect an existing one such as MetaMask or Ledger, or create a new one directly on YourProof.id by signing in with your email using a one-time passcode, Google account, or Apple ID. After registration, you will receive a unique wallet address that begins with “0x,” which must be entered on your IGI grading form.

When grading is complete, your DDC will be delivered directly to your digital wallet. To view it, log in to YourProof.id, open the Portfolio section, and access all your certified natural diamonds in one place. From there, you can review certificate details, share them with buyers, or manage ownership with ease.
