A Sparkling Fashion Show

During the event, guests were treated to a fashion show of Marli jewelry. Models in sleek black gowns walked the stage and into the audience so guests could get a closer look at the jewels. For its high jewelry collection, the brand embodies the vibrant spirit of New York City, with the Big Apple consistently providing inspiration for the brand since it launched in 2014. Comprised of five collections, Darli, Chance, Twilight, Moonlight and Lady Liberty, Marli high jewelry showcases unique design elements and poetic narratives inspired by the City.

Artinian, who grew up in her family’s jewelry business, collaborated with a team of French high jewelry designers, who worked closely with the brands skilled in-house artisans to bring “A New York Affair” to life. Many of the jewelry pieces do double duty with detachable earring or pendant drops and adjustable necklace styles that easily transform, capturing the essence of a day well lived in New York City.

Five Suites of High Jewelry

The first suite in the collection, Darli, short for darling, is the brands initial foray into floral motifs. Interpreted in Marli’s signature architectural style, these flowers are not for the faint of heart.

Next up is Chance, embodying the unexpected encounters and serendipitous moments in New York City, through its herringbone design adorned with diamonds set in a triangular pattern. These pieces have a howlite frame, fastened by hand around the central diamonds adding a marble-like element and visual depth.

Twilight, crafted from 18-karat gold strips reflects the City’s energy as day turns to night.

Not surprisingly, Moonlight pays tribute to New York City’s evening landscape through its clean lines, voluminous forms and abstract patterns.

At the heart of the collection is Lady Liberty, which pays homage to the iconic landmark, the Statue of Liberty. The collection is meant to capture the universal message of freedom from the renowned statue. Taking inspiration from the Statue of Liberty’s tiara, it blends classic elegance with modern design.
