Antwerp, Belgium (May 26, 2020) — The International Gemological Institute (IGI) has reopened its worldwide offices to customers in-person, either fully or in a limited capacity.
“The safety of our staff and customers remains our top priority,” said IGI CEO Roland Lorie. “We will continue following the strictest safety and health guidelines as we begin to support customers in-person and offer services to help the diamond industry flourish again.”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, IGI developed and launched remote programs for some of the world’s largest diamond suppliers and retailers, providing diverse educational coursework for industry professionals on several continents. “Whatever crisis may arise, IGI will do everything in its power to adapt, innovate and help the industry come back stronger than ever,” said Lorie.
