IGI Congratulates Leila Bahrami

Leila is a 2021 IGI ExpressionsJewelry Design Competition Champion, honored for her Sketch Design in the Bridal Wear Jewelry category.

Participants in this category were invited to submit a “creation of dreams,” reflecting a bride’s desire to look like a dream on her wedding day.

Leila Bahrami

Leila Bahrami was born in Iran in 1992. A goldworks, art and jewelry design teacher with more than 10 years of experience, she also holds a degree in private law.

IGI Expressions Winner Leila Bahrami

Leila underwent no formal jewelry design training prior to entering the IGI Expressions™ Competition – she has always drawn her creative inspirations from personal interest. This IGI Expressions™ Award is her first official honor for jewelry design.

Thank you, Jurists

The winning designs were selected by a panel of renowned jewelry and fashion industry experts including Italy’s Paolo De Luca, India’s Pallavi Foley, David Gotlib from Belgium, Ashraf Motiwala from India, England’s Katerina Perez and Veronique Tournet from France. Selected from 555 submissions representing 21 countries, this year’s creative works were all designed as interpretations of the word “dream,” the competition’s theme. IGI thanks our esteemed jurists for sharing their time and expertise and advocating for jewelry design.

Dreams become reality.

The six winning designs were featured at the Premium D Show in Goa, India. The winning participants receive an  competition Champion Certificate, Champion Award, and small cash honorarium. Those artists and their creations are receiving further exposure here, in IGI’s pan-Indian ORIGIN Magazine and across the institute’s various worldwide social channels.
