IGI’s North America President Joins Renowned Industry Board

Avi Levy appointed to the Diamonds Do Good Board of Directors

New York (January 25, 2021) — The International Gemological Institute (IGI) is pleased to announce its North America President Avi Levy has joined the Diamonds Do Good Board of Directors.

A global nonprofit organization, Diamonds Do Good is supported by the international diamond industry. Its mission is to support social programs that develop and empower people who reside in natural diamond communities across the world. Notably, the organization funds programs that provide youth with high-quality education on a variety of topics, including leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

“I am honored to join the Diamonds Do Good Board of Directors,” said Levy. “I look forward to collaborating with the other board members and using our vast industry knowledge and experience to make a positive impact in natural diamond communities.”

With nearly 25 years of jewelry sector experience, Levy brings to this role a wealth of business acumen, expertise and the ability to build strong relationships on the board’s behalf. Notably, his appointment is a natural fit given IGI’s extensive global presence and 45-year history of providing industry excellence and education.
