Unbiased Independent Screenings and Appraisals

IGI is independent of all commercial sellers and sales organizations and is not engaged in buying, selling, or trading diamonds, gemstones, or jewelry. This neutrality permits IGI to provide unbiased, accurate appraisals, appraisal-updates, screenings, and identification reports. Our appraisers are accredited by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and continue their education by attending courses and conferences each year.

Appraisal values are based on real-time surveillance of price structures in use throughout the market, supported by national and international wholesale conditions and cost data. Value forecasts and market diversity are also considered, in the interest of long-term consumer protection.

IGI offers appraisals for insurance coverage, estate tax, equitable distribution, marketable cash, and financial auditing purposes.
