‘Hold on…’ Phil Collins’ Ex-Wife Auctioning His Piano, Jewelry & More

Orianne Cevey, the former wife of rock legend Phil Collins, is set to auction items from the singer’s valuable collection, including his personal Yamaha baby grand piano and wedding presents from 24 years ago.

Cevey will be offering a collection of jewelry, handbags, and other items estimated to be worth nearly $4 million on December 6. Some of the notable items that will be offered by Florida-based Kodner Auctions include a Wurlitzer jukebox and an extensive collection of Chanel items owned by Cevey, who previously claimed to be the fashion house’s top buyer.

Cevey, currently undergoing her third divorce from male escort Tom Bates, married him in Las Vegas in 2020 without a prenup. The upcoming auction on December 6 will feature high-end couture items acquired during her marriage to Collins, such as Chanel clothing, shoes, boots, and a significant selection of Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry.

“I was Chanel’s number one client when I started collecting in 2001 with more than 500 pairs of Chanel shoes in my collection,” Cevey reportedly claimed, citing her decision to downsize her home as the reason for parting with these cherished possessions.

The Wurlitzer jukebox, a 1999 wedding gift from Collins’ manager, holds sentimental value, as does the Yamaha piano, used by Phil to teach their 22-year-old son, Nicholas, how to play. The piano is expected to fetch between $50,000 and $100,000.

Russ Kodner, president of Kodner Auction Gallery, described the auction as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire some of the most personal and iconic items from the private collection of Phil and Orianne Collins.” A substantial portion of the proceeds will benefit the ‘Never Give Up Foundation,’ supporting individuals with disabilities like Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Cevey and Collins, who split in 2008 but briefly reunited from 2016 to 2019, called it quits again in December 2021. They share two children. The auction catalog and bidding options will be available online starting on November 24.
