Creation #16: Double Ruban Mysterieux clip
Reflecting the couture inspiration that Van Cleef & Arpels has cherished since its beginnings, the Double Ruban Mystérieux clip provide striking effects of color and materials, with a D Flawless Type IIa 3.08 carat emerald cut diamond at its center.

Held in place using the Traditional Mystery Set technique, rows of buff-topped rubies give birth to a velvety, intense red effect, while pink sapphires enrich the color palette with their delicate shades.

Creation #17: Satin Mysterieux ring
The minimalist design of the Satin Mystérieux ring evokes some of Van Cleef & Arpels’ archives from the 1930s. The central diamond is a D Flawless, Type IIa brilliant weighing 3.22 carats.

The Mystery Set seems to encircle the finger with the same fluidity as a satin ribbon, delicately emphasized by a row of square-cut diamonds.

Creation #18: Atours Mysterieux
The heaviest stone in the collection, this 79.35 carat D Flawless Type IIa diamond is given pride of place in the Atours Mystérieux necklace.

The central diamond of the Atours Mystérieux necklace can be detached, and replaced by an Individual Mystery Set composition.

To emphasize the brilliance of the central diamond, the Maison selected an oval cut with harmonious proportions. Its 57 facets multiply the stone’s brilliance while its shape and the size of its table offer a dive into its pure waters.

Creation #19: Entrelacs Mysterieux bracelet
Two generous Asscher-cut diamonds of matching 10.88 and 10.88 carats face each other on the Entrelacs Mystérieux bracelet.

The octagonal shape multiplies the reflections inside the stone, revealing the intense brilliance of its fire.

Rows of diamonds, snaking across the bracelet, intertwine to surprise
and dazzle the eye.

Creation #20: Asymetrie Mysterieuse
The gentle shape – pear-cut diamonds of 2.23 and 2.04 carats – allows the gems to catch the light and multiply their fire.

The Lesotho Legend
At a weight of 910 carats, the Lesotho Legend was the fifth largest rough diamond ever mined. It also ranked among the highest quality crystals ever recovered, with prestigious Type IIa chemical composition and D color. Meticulous analysis of the rough crystal with modern technology and experienced advice from a master diamond cutter culminated in the ‘birth’ of 67 polished diamonds.
